El Hada (The Fairy)
In this classic tale from the French fairy tale master Charles Perrault (the same man who gave us Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, among others) we meet two sisters. The older sister has got an ugly personality while the younger sister has a sweet disposition. The two girls meet the same fairy in the woods but the results of their encounters are totally different.
SPOILER ALERT: This story in Spanish is also called “Sapos y diamantes“ but I don’t like that title because it gives away a big part of the plot!
