The little chicks say peep, peep, peep
when they are hungry, when they are cold.
The mother hen looks for corn and wheat
she gives them food, and grants them shelter.
Under mama’s wings, huddling up,
Sleep the little chicks until the next day.

Los pollitos dicen is the title of a popular lullaby sung in Latin America. It’s also the name of a company run by Cuban-American entreprenuer Carrie Ferguson Weir. Listen to the podcast I did with Carrie about growing up Cuban-American in Miami and how she came to develop a T-shirt line for babies.

Besides being a businesswoman and working mom, Carrie also writes an enjoyable blog about her life. It’s called Bilingual in the Boonies.
