Do you know the story of ” El Milagro de Deolinda Correa”? It’s from Argentina and though I would not say it’s a children’s story, it is quite interesting and still believed to this day. Just a thought.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your note. Yes, we’ve got a few folk tales from Argentina and Mexico already recorded and ready to go but we can certainly use a lot more. Some of the traditional tales I’ve come across lack a narrative spark and aren’t that interesting, in my opinion. But if you or anyone reading this has any suggestions on some good traditional folk tales, please send them my way. I’m definitely on the lookout for new and interesting material.

I’m a 27 year old soon to be teacher and I enjoy these stories a great deal. I can’t wait to show the transcripts to my future students while they listen to the podcasts and improve their spanish and their accents.

Any chance you can post stories that are more traditional to the ‘mundo hispano?’
